Von Trier is never going to be a summer blockbuster Director, so it seems appropriate that Antichrist makes its debut on British screens in a face-off against a certain boy wizard. While his Dogme ‘95 rules positioned him as almost violently opposed to special effects, this effort shows an almost Raimi-esque affinity with gore.
