Director Noboru Iguchi has been quietly carving a niche for himself based on killer robots with weapons in unexpected places – and he continues the trend with RoboGeisha. Where Sukeban Boy boasted breast cannons this latest, a collaboration with Yoshihiro Nishimura – of Tokyo Gore Police infamy – introduces what the trailer describes as ‘Hip-Katanas’.
